Virginia Eiseman is a recent graduate of the Parsons School of Design-New School University with an M.A. in the History of American Decorative Art. Her interest in quilt history arose from working at the National Museum of American History Smithsonian Institution (Textiles Collection). Her earlier studies were at the University of Wisconsin with a B.A. in Sociology and a M.Sc. in Education. She has lived and worked in Canada and India and currently resides near Washington, DC.
