I started sewing in the early 1970s. I made garments for personal use only. That didn't last long. People began to ask me to make different garments. After doing this for years I needed something else to do. So I started knitting and crochet. I wasn't satisfied with that. Then I met Jackie Dawson (deceased) who was an avid quilter and she invited me to a quilt guild. I joined and now I sew everyday. I love quilt making. It's so relaxing and I sew everyday.
