Gasperik 09: Wholecloth Quilts

Mary Gasperik experimented freely with the patterns and styles of the quilted stitching, or "quiltING" as coined by granddaughter Susan Salser. While innovative quiltING is evident in all Gasperik's quilts, the wholecloth quilts shown here demonstrate particular emphasis on this aspect of her quilt making, applied to shiny synthetic fabrics.
