Gasperik 06: Gifts for Weddings & Anniversaries

Significant family events, such as weddings and anniversaries, were occasions for Mary Gasperik's handiwork. She favored bouquet quilts for such events. Quilts made for dated events help build quilt history by providing accurate dates for the quilt itself, which may also narrow the timeframe when a particular quilt pattern or kit was available. Of course, some quiltmakers, like Gasperik, stockpiled favored patterns and used them years after they were originally purchased.
