Humpty Dumpty

Right now Humpty Dumpty looks quite happy and gay; but, oh what a sad ending he is to have. There isn't anything that can be done about him once he has that famous fall we all know about.

This may be worked out in an etching stitch in red, blue, green, or any plain color; or the whole block may be made in applique. His suit may be henna, his shoes dark brown, the wall gray, his head tan and his bow tie bright yellow, and his collar of course shown be white.

This is also attractive in a combination of applique and solid embroidery. The head could be etched and the shoe soles, hands, bow tie and hands be embroidered. The buttons on his coat may be big, bright yellow French knots.
