Mother Goose Quilt Series-Pattern No. 16
Little Bo-Peep

This may be worked out in an etching stitch in red, blue, green, or any plain color; or the whole block may be made in applique.

The dress can be made of light blue chambray; the hat of straw yellow with a blue ribbon and her hair henna. Her sash may be yellow; her pantalettes of ruffled lace; her shoes and laces black and her crook light brown. The little sheep may be of French knots in white wool, very close together.

This is also attractive in a combination of applique and solid embroidery. The crook, shoes, bonnet and sash would be effective in solid embroidery and the rest etched or appliqued.

See general directions leaflet giving yardages and measurements of blocks, joining strips and borders of quilt.
