Curley Locks

Well, if here isn't our little friend Curley Locks, sitting on a big cushion and sewing a fine seam. Isn't she beautiful?

This may be worked out in an etching stitch in red, blue, green, or any plain color; or the whole block may be made in applique.

Curley Locks should have a blue dress with small pink roses in it; yellow hair and a blue hair-ribbon. She might sit on a pink cushion trimmed with a gold tassels.

This is also attractive in a combination of applique and solid embroidery. Curley Lock's hair may be solid embroidery in yellow silk, and her little shoes of solid embroidery in black.

See general directions leaflet giving yardages and measurements of blocks, joining strips and borders of quilt.
