Health Care Worker Helps Colleagues
Peoria; Arizona; United States
I am a Pediatric Emergency Medicine and ENT/Allergy/Asthma Physician Assistant currently on medical leave. As I cannot be side by side with my colleagues in the trenches to fight this unforgivable virulent virus, I feel a calling to help protect them as they fight the good fight. I made masks for front line healthcare workers, hospice, home health, essential workers (police, ENS...). I designed the pattern to fit tightly over N95 masks or worn alone. A non woven sew-in interfacing is used as a filter or a person can add the filter of their choice. Masks are made of 100% premium grade cotton. I have used grosgrain ribbon as the ties. The tie is one continuous piece for easy adjustment during donning and removal without self contamination.
