By: Ries, Rebecca A.

Rebecca A. Ries grew up in the midwest and has been transplanted to the northwest where she recently graduated from the University of Oregon with a master's degree in landscape architecture (M.L.A.). Interested in textiles since childhood, she began making quilts in high school. She now finds that combining her textile interests with her professional involvement in landscape and environment has opened new creative avenues worthy of exploration.
