Elizabeth Hoffman has a B.A. in English literature, a M.A. in his­toric/cultural aspects of textiles and clothing, and a Ph.D. in art edu­cation. Her diverse background has stimulated her interest in interdisciplinary study and multimethod investigation. Currently she is an adjunct faculty member at both Oregon State University and the University of Oregon. She teaches classes on art and gender, art in society, twentieth-century costume, and fashion design.
