Artist's Statement:

My inspiration for this year's quilt is Yvonne Porcella. Not only this year but from the very first quilt I made. I saw her a long time ago on Alex Anderson's TV show and I was hooked. I love her work and what she has done for the quilt world. The log cabin pattern is my favorite so the quilt I made is a log cabin that was inspired by Yvonne's quilts. She uses a lot of bright colors and shapes. The sky is the limit.
