Artist's Statement:

My piece, "What World is This?" tells a story about our place in the universe. Imagine if we were discovered for the first time by another being. Would we be considered insignificant, beautiful or strange? I speculate that upon first finding our world, one would be in awe at the complexities that comprise the earth.
