The color palette represents red: passion, black/white:balance and harmony of yin and yang energies. The small hand appliqué was challenging (the flower baskets are only 1.5 inches) and there was a lot of hand quilting but overall it was a delightful experience.\r\n

Restoring 16 x 16 of the quilt made it more approachable as a restoration. I passionately refused to cut this beauty for five years because of the passion in its creation and families involved.
