By: Davis, Carolyn O'Bagy
Carolyn O'Bagy Davis, a fourth-generation quilter, has written several books on quilting and women's history. She earned her B.A. degree in anthropology from the University of Arizona. She has curated a traveling Mimbres archaeology exhibit and one on "Quilting from the Hopi Mesas." Carolyn's current research explores the cultural impact of Native American tribes on the quilts made by trading-post women in the Southwest.
