Friends and family of Harriet Sook (nee) Hohensee of Fond du Lac, WI made this quilt for her wedding. Names and information regarding the quilt makers is unknown. Harriet Sook is the mother-in-law of the quilt owner, Joanne Sook. The quilt owner added information about her mother-in law, "She was from Fond du Lac and taught at Waucousta, WI and lived with this family who worked on the quilt during the week. She talked of riding to train station in a carriage with a surrey on top."
