Here are a few suggestions for the quilting of the Horoscope quilt.

All appliqued pieces are to be left untouched. They may be outlined in quilting stitch just outside the seam, when the quilt is on the frame. A double circles may be drawn around the characteristics. This circle is as wide as the depth of the letters.

The connecting sash work may be divided into diamonds made by diagonal intersections with a three-quarter inch rule. The border may be squared in three-quarter inch checks.

And in three-inch wide strip which connects the border to the body may be marked with the signs of the planets, a few of which are given today. On leaflet No. 40 you will find some more of these planet signs.

Do not start to use any of these designs until you have carefully read the instructions on leaflet No. 40.
