Book Offers Quilt Designs
A new quilt book with 16 prize designs is being offered by The Detroit News to its readers.​

For the first time, a presidential quilt pattern has been reproduced from the heirloom design in the Smithsonian Institutution in Washington. The 118-year-old emblem has never been released for reproduction before.​

The book includes both new and traditional patterns, comprising a collection never before made available in one book.​

Complete instructions, blocks, charts and even fabric ideas are given in the book, which may be obtained by sending 50c to The Detroit News, Needlecraft Department, P. O. Box 161, Old Chelsea Station, New York 11, N. Y.​
