Diana Callahan

Sometimes it is hard to get our members to agree to have their profiles written up, and sometimes someone else wants to tell the story of another member. This is about Diana Callahan, a fabulous quilter and appliquer, as you can see from the pictures of her work. Diana is a stab stitching quilter, which is one of the more difficult ways of quilting but results in quilting that is “almost” perfect.

Diana has long been a member of Minnesota Quilters and is also a member of a smaller quilt group. Several years ago she created the Flower Girl quilt, which exemplifies her work in applique and hand quilting. She has also worked on quilting of the Meau collection quilts as a further example of her fantastic work.
