By: Filo, Jill Sutton
Jill Sutton Filo earned her B.F.A. at Kent State University and works as a free-lance artist in Akron, Ohio. She specializes in graphics, commissioned stained glass, and in the design and creation of quilts. Her interest in collecting antique quilts and related ephemera led to historical research focusing on the quilt designers and authors of the early twentieth century. She calls this period the McKim era!
