Friendship Quilt Completed
Mary Mancuse (left) and her friend Antoinette Sutriano, are having fun looking for the names of May's friends on this quilt, which was made with the help of about 100 quilters. It was started last August and taken off the frames last week.

(clipping cut-off) with it. She is going to use it as a spread for she says that she wants it where she can see it - that she would never enjoy it if it were tucked away in a trunk.

May is right. Quilts should be enjoyed, not just put away and saved. If they are of good material they should launder successfully, and any quilt which is not made of good material is not worth the time one spends in making it.

In spite of the weather yesterday there was a large attendance at the Quilt Club Corner meeting. Mrs. Rose Alexander came as she had promised. We had looked forward for two weeks to have her back in the circle again.

Mrs. Emily Fretch came from Roseville and Mrs. Alice Yeardley brought a new member (her sister-in-law), Mrs. William Clarkston, 2519 Hurlbut avenue.

Miss Mary Gathers brought a quilt top to show to us. It was a Double Irish Chain in royal blue, white and a print with a small floral design. Now she plans to make a Single Irish Chain quilt.

Mrs. B. N. Moore has a clever idea. She uses a block of her Seven Stars quilt for a pillow top. She suggests putting a colored ruffle (about an inch and a half or two inches wide) all...(clipping cut-off)
