Star Quilts
The star motif is a popular one for Quilt Patterns because it lends itself to so many different designs
Among the Detroit News quilt patterns based on stars are:

Lone Star Quilt Pattern- One Big eight pointed star made of many tiny diamonds shaped pieces ID-58

Northern Lights Quilt Pattern- nine pattered blocks, each a star made of 16 1 ¼ inch strips, joined with plain blocks or stripes, ID79

Seventh Heaven quilt pattern- not a real star but squares and triangles arranged to five the effect of a star. An easy pattern to follow. ID-69

Leaflets are one cent each if called for at The Detroit News. Majestic or General Motors Building.
