Marsha MacDowell, Ph.D., a professor of art, is curator of folk arts at the Michigan State University Museum. Marsha coordinates the Michigan Quilt Project and the Michigan Traditional Arts Program. She has served AQSG as president, vice-president, and board member. Her research focuses on traditional arts of Native Americans, the Great Lakes region, and South Africa.
