By: Shultis, Lynne
Lynne Shultis is a Labor Relations Associate at the University at Albany and holds an MS degree in psychology from the Sage Colleges. She has always been interested in antique textiles and for a short time sold vintage clothing, specializing in nineteenth-century pieces. Lynne's mother and both grandmothers were avid sewers, and she began quilting in 1995 when a friend encouraged her to "try it." Her first quilt, a Delectable Mountain design, won top honors at a local quilt show. Lynne has a deep interest in nineteenth-century quilts and American life. She lives in Albany, New York, with her family.
