Quilt Show To be Held Tomorrow
Members of the Woodfield Woman's club announce the showing of a Quilt Exhibit to be held at the Tuley park fieldhouse from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. tomorrow.
Mrs. Mary Gasperik will display her quilts many of which are original and have won blue ribbons will be among the twenty-five or more to be exhibited. Miss Marjorie Klock, 722 E. 89th pl., will exhibit a hand-made quilt made by one of her ancestors more than one hundred and fifty years ago.
Those in charge of the exhibit are Mrs. Gasperik, Mrs. Robert Moore, 556 E. 89th pl., Mrs. Robert Maier, Mrs. Henry Coppock, Jr., and Mrs. Charles Chuck.
The tickers are priced at thirty-five cents, including refreshments and all proceeds will go into a philanthropic fund. Neighborhood grocers and a bakery have donated the refreshments.
