Mother, better get your needles going. Christmas will be here before you know it! Begin planning the gifts you want to make for your family now. Sew leisurely during the day when members of the family are away at work and school, and your gifts will come as complete surprises on Christmas morning. Pay an early visit to Hudson's Third Floor. Wander through the Fabric Shops where you can fulfill your own ideas of the fabrics and patterns you want and pick up some new ideas as yo go. A visit to Hudson's will encourage you to start sewing cheer into your Christmas gifts this year!

Rayons

Planning to make pretty quilted robes for little and big daughters' Christmas? Then you'll want to see our colorful selection of quilted rayon satin, rayon taffeta, rayon challis. Or, maybe a handsome negligee for a dear friend? Rayon velvet in a rich, warm shade, is beautiful for such a gift. And not forgetting friend husband, why not make him a rayon brocade lounging jacket or robe?

Entertaining the hope of making gifts that will keep your family warm? Then you'll want to see our Christmas array of wools and woolens for most any costume to wear in the wintertime. For instance: we've wool flannels for cozy robes; suitings for school and casual suits; lightweight wools for frocks; coatings of fine Fortsmann wool and others, too; and even snow suit fabrics.

Wondering what to make for members of your knitting club? Gifts you can make to beautify their table settings are very appropriate. Sew, for instance, a dainty luncheon set of colored linen with embroidered or applique trims. Or a matching apron and pan holder set of gay cotton accented by bright appliqueing.
