Huge Show to Surpass All Records

It was almost closing time at the quilt receiving office yesterday afternoon when the door opened especially wide and in walked (not briskly, however) the Quilt Club Sisters Mrs. Emmons Galton and Mrs. Arthur Fisher with their arms loaded with quilts and tops.

Almost every quilt has a duplicate, for what one sister makes, the other makes also. There are also two Double Irish Chains (similar to the one the Minnie Russell has) two Monday Mornings, etc.

And who else should come in a little later but Sylvia Carlen with some more entries? She has certainly been a hard worker for the show, bringing down quilts for friends who were not able to make the trip. She also made some special aprons.

Just wait until you se the show. You can't imagine how gorgeous and huge it is going to be- the biggest quilt show on record. There are also so many quilts; the aprons will have to be displayed in a separate room.

I can't begin to tell you about the antique quilt. There will be more than every before and ever before and every one has an interesting history. The workmanship is outstanding, especially when we consider so much of it was done by candlelight.

You have no need to worry about the care of your quilts, for they are checked, rechecked, and packed in large cardboard which are sealed and stacked up ready to be taken to the Armory. The next time you see them they will be hanging up for everybody to see and enjoy.
